Here’s a quick 4-step guide to help you get set up smoothly with Understory.
Heads up - you’ll need a computer to complete the steps. If you need help, feel free to reach out.

1. Invitation to account

Accept the invite to your Understory account: A separate invite is sent to your email from [email protected]

2. Create an experience and/or date

We've set up your experiences and dates, but some details might be missing if we can't find the information.

3. Set up payments with Understory Pay


To start getting bookings, you’ll need to set up payments with Understory Pay. Follow the step-by-step guide below to see how it's done:

  1. Go to your profile, click on "Company settings", and then go to Integrations.

  2. Set up your account

  5. Verification of owner(s)

    If you have more than one owner of the company, all owners need to be verified. If the person who needs to be verified isn't sitting next to you, you can share a link to the QR code - Either by copying and sharing or by SMS

  6. Company contact details

  7. Add bank account details for payouts

    Remember to find your IBAN number

    • Find this on your web-bank or bank statement

  8. Review and submit

    Read through "PCI DSS questionnaire" and "Sign Services agreement" and sign the documents.

4. Connect Understory to your website

    4. WordPress Plugin
      Embed your Storefront or upcoming dates directly on your site.

      It’s the right fit if you want a fully integrated booking solution while keeping complete control of your brand and design.
