How to set up direct Checkout from your website
Requirements: Admin account access
Go to Storefront and select Implementation – Opens booking flow setup options.
Choose Checkout under Flow type – "Checkout" option is for opening bookings in a new page.
Pick the Experience you wish to link – Use the Experience dropdown to select.
Select Language – Choose the language for the booking flow.
Select Storefront – Pick the storefront configuration you want to use for this experience.
Copy the generated link – Use the copy button to get your unique checkout URL.
Paste this link or button snippet on your website – Connect your website's "Book" button directly to this checkout page.
Your site visitors will now be sent directly to the Understory Checkout page for a clean and focused booking experience.
How the Checkout integration works
With Checkout integration, you connect each experience (like a wine tasting, surf lesson, or workshop) directly to its unique full-screen booking page on Understory. When a customer clicks “Book” on your website, they’re taken straight to that page, where they can complete their booking with minimal clicks. You can select the right storefront look and the supported languages, so the booking experience fits seamlessly with your audience and your brand. It’s especially useful if you want a clear separation between your website content and the booking transaction window.
