Step by Step guide

  1. Go to your Understory-page

  2. Click "Overview" in the toolbar

  3. From here you can click Go to Stripe or Go to my Understory page

  4. Filter by date to access data on your performance within a specific period

  5. Filter by experience to get data on specific experiences

Explanation of different boxes

Total views of experiences: Total views of your storefront site.

Total numbers of customers: Amount of unique customers that purchased on your site. For example, if 1 customer buys 4 tickets only 1 will show in the box.

Total gift cards sold: How many unique gift cards have been purchased.

Total number of guests: How many tickets sold per unique guest. For example, if a customer bought 4 tickets the number in the box will be 4 etc.

Total sales: How much have you sold in total (turnover). It will only count towards the total sales if the purchase has been made through Understory.

General advice

The overview page is a quick way to access data on your overall performance. It is easy to keep track of which experiences and periods of the year you are performing well.

When clicking the different boxes in the overview you will be able to see a graph based on the specific box e.g. "total sales". If you choose to filter by experience you will only be shown data from that experience.

Move your mouse on the graph to see data from the specific day.

You should see the numbers increase continuously. If not we advise you to explore the reason behind it. This could be a seasonal reason or similar but you must investigate the reason.

We also advise using the insights to promote the best-performing experiences of your business
