Step-by-Step guide

  1. Go to Storefront

  2. Click on manage storefronts

  3. Click on the Storefront where you want to activate the gift card feature

  4. Click edit in the right corner

  5. Scroll to the bottom

  6. Toggle "Gift Card Purchases"

  7. Remember to click save in the right corner

General advice

In Understory, all payments are processed directly to your Stripe account and paid out to your bank account.

Gift cards are a powerful way to secure upfront revenue while also promoting your business to new customers.

You can configure gift card settings individually for each Storefront you create.
For example, you might have gift cards enabled for your B2C Storefront, but disabled for your B2B Storefront if you prefer not to offer gift cards to business clients.
