You can set how long gift cards are valid for, choose a custom prefix for the codes, and select what type of gift cards your business offers. These settings help personalize gift card sales and track usage more easily.
How to Configure Gift Cards
Click Sales in the navigation bar - Sales page opens
Select the Gift cards tab - Gift cards overview appears
Click the settings (gear) icon in the top right - Gift card configuration window opens
Set how long gift cards are valid for by selecting an option from the "Valid for" dropdown
Enter a code prefix if you want all your gift cards to start with specific letters or numbers
Choose the type(s) of gift cards you wish to offer:
For an amount: Gift card can be used on any experience
For an Experience: Gift card covers specific experience(s)
Click Save - Your gift card settings are updated
How Experience Gift Cards Work
When you select "For an Experience" as your gift card type, gift cards are created specifically for a chosen experience. These experience gift cards will cover a set number of tickets for that particular experience. If a guest tries to use an experience gift card for a different experience, the card will automatically act as a value-based (amount) gift card instead, allowing the amount to be used toward other experiences.
