Understanding revenue - GROW

Revenue shows the total value of bookings or purchases that your ads—set up in the GROW section—have generated for your business.

Updated today

Revenue shows the total value of bookings or purchases that your ads—set up in the GROW section—have generated for your business. It lets you see exactly how much money your advertising is bringing in.

The number you see for Revenue in your GROW dashboard is pulled automatically from your Meta tracking setup (like Pixel or Data Sets). This means it only counts the sales that happened after someone clicked on your ads—such as tickets sold or experience bookings made through your ads.

How to find your Revenue from GROW ads

Requirements: You must have access to the "Grow" and "Advertising" sections in your Understory dashboard, with Meta tracking (Pixel or Data Sets) set up.

  1. Click “Grow” in your navigation menu – Opens the GROW dashboard

  2. Review the "Revenue" total on your dashboard – See sales driven from ads

If you haven’t set up Meta tracking (Pixel or Data Sets) yet, your Revenue will show as zero until tracked purchases start coming in.

How Understory Revenue works

Revenue under the GROW section tells you the actual sales your ads brought in—not just how many people saw your ads or clicked on them. Understory gets this data from your Meta tracking (Pixel or Data Sets), adding up all bookings and purchases completed after a customer engages with your ad.

This helps you:

  • Understand which ads are really delivering bookings and sales

  • Improve your advertising to focus on what’s working

  • See real results, not just guesses
