Understanding your Bloom subscription period

Your Bloom subscription in Understory is designed to be flexible and transparent.

Updated this week

Your Bloom subscription in Understory is designed to be flexible and easy to manage. Billing for Bloom starts as soon as you sign up and onboard in the product—so you can begin using advertising tools and see real results quickly.

Your monthly billing start date is always the same as your signup date, which is set 5 days before your ads go live. This means subscription fees begin as soon as you finish onboarding, since our team begins working on your account right away.

How to view and manage your Bloom subscription

Requirements: You need access to "Grow" and have "Bloom" activated in your Understory dashboard.

  1. Click "Grow" from the navigation menu – Opens Grow section

  2. Select "Bloom" – Shows Bloom dashboard

  3. Find your subscription details under "Bloom subscription" – View plan and billing cycle

  4. Click "Manage plan" to change or cancel – Opens plan management options

How the Bloom subscription works

  • Price: Bloom costs €249/month, plus your chosen monthly ad budget.

  • Minimum commitment: There is a 2-month minimum commitment for every customer.

  • 60-day money-back guarantee for all new Bloom customers. Try the service risk-free.

  • No marketing experience needed – we handle the setup for you.

Ad budget details:

  • Minimum ad budget: €400/month.

  • 100% of your ad budget goes directly to the advertising platform (Meta) and is paid there (not to Understory).

  • Note: The ad budget you set in Bloom and what Meta actually spends in a calendar month might not match exactly. Meta calculates ad spend daily; Bloom tracks it by the month.

Billing timing:

  • Your Bloom billing date will always match your signup date (for example, sign up on the 3rd, billed on the 3rd of every month).

  • Billing starts as soon as you’ve onboarded, exactly 5 days before your ads go live, because our team starts working straight away.

Cancellation:

  • You keep full access to Bloom until the end of the month you’ve paid for, even if you cancel early. (Example: Renew on March 5, cancel on March 10, access continues until April 5.)

  • No refunds for unused days after cancellation. You just won’t be billed again.

  • To cancel, use the "Manage plan" button in your Bloom dashboard at any time.
