Connect with Other Understory Accounts to Distribute Each Other’s Experiences

Connect lets you link your Understory account with other Understory experience providers, so you can share and distribute each other’s experiences. This feature is ideal for businesses wanting to collaborate and expand their offerings, or agencies managing multiple providers on Understory.


How to Connect with Another Understory Account

  1. Go to company settings by clicking the small arrow in the bottom left corner - Settings page opens

  2. Click the 'Connect' tab - Connect settings appear

  3. Click the '+ Add connection' button - Add connection window opens

  4. Enter the email of the provider you want to connect with - Email is entered

  5. Choose what you want to share:

    • All my experiences

    • A selection of my experiences (choose specific ones)

    • None of my experiences

  6. Click 'Invite' - Invitation sent, connection appears as 'Pending' until accepted


How to Edit or Remove an Existing Connection

  1. Go to the 'Connect' tab in Company Settings - See list of connections

  2. Click on the connection you want to edit or disconnect - Connection details open

  3. To edit sharing permissions, click 'Edit', choose share settings, and click 'Save' - New sharing settings saved

  4. To disconnect, click 'Disconnect' and confirm - Connection is removed


What Does the Connect Feature Do?

Connect allows you to create collaborative partnerships with other Understory businesses. You control which experiences you share, and with whom. This enables:

  • Expanding your reach by letting other providers sell your experiences

  • Managing agency-style relationships between multiple businesses

  • Selectively controlling your shared offerings at any time

Connection requests can be managed at any time, including updating what is shared, viewing connection details, or fully disconnecting.
