How to connect Understory to iCal
Click the small arrow in the bottom left corner - Opens company options
Select "Company settings" - Access the company settings menu
Go to the "Integrations" tab - Shows integration options
Find the iCal integration and click "Get started" - Opens iCal setup
Click the green "Set up" button - Starts the connection process
Choose your synchronization preferences (which events should sync, guides selection, language settings) - Tailor the integration to your needs
Click "Continue" - Confirms your sync settings
Wait for "Generating link..." to complete - System creates your unique iCal link
Copy your iCal link ("Your iCal feed is ready to sync") - Link is copied to clipboard for use in your preferred calendar app
What can I do with the iCal integration?
The iCal integration helps you automatically synchronize events and bookings created in Understory to any external calendar supporting the iCal format—such as Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook. You can control what gets synced, whether it's all events, just booked events, or events for specific guides. This helps keep everyone on your team in the loop and streamlines your schedule management, whether you're accessing your calendar from your phone, tablet, or computer.
