Connecting your PayPal account enables a smooth payment process for guests and helps you manage all your ticket sales in one place.
How to set up PayPal for payments
Requirements: You must have company settings access and a PayPal account.
Click the small arrow in the bottom left corner - Company menu opens
Click "company settings" - Settings page appears
Go to "Integrations" tab - List of integration options shows
Find PayPal and click "Get started" - Setup window pops up
Review and confirm your company details - Enter legal company information
Click "Finish set up in PayPal" - Redirects to PayPal for account connection
Log in to PayPal and complete connection - PayPal is linked to Understory
What happens when PayPal is connected?
Once you've connected PayPal, guests can pay for bookings using PayPal on your storefront. All payments are tracked through your Understory dashboard, making it easy to reconcile sales and manage payouts. You can disconnect or update your PayPal integration at any time from the "Integrations" tab in your settings.
